![]() Of course, if you are actually able to notice this difference, it is very likely that something else in your chain is introducing lag. ![]() Not sure how much either of these will help, but if you are talking about <10ms difference then this is your problem. You can force osu! to disable this temporarily by setting the compatbility options in the properties of the exe. This is associated with vsync, which is basically forced at a windows level to stop tearing. There is an added lag since aero due to desktop composition. I feel like without the 85hz on my old monitor I'm never really going to play as well as I did but I guess that's a sacrifice I have to make for this monitor? Either way, thanks guys. I'm going to keep messing with it until I get it to where I like it. I always knew that was there but I never thought that it could have any impact on performance. And I do play BF3 1080p on highest with no problems.īut, I did come across a small fix which was just changing the appearance under system properties to "best performance" (running win7) and it did kill the problem a bit. Only that if affects every game I play in a window. It almost feels like frame limiter (vsync) comes back on when I play windowed. But higher resolutions (windowed) result in input lag. But that's just so I don't have to adjust the screen size of the tablet.Īnd That's my problem! I mean, I promise I have the specs to operate haha. So instead you have a square of what is the game. But basically, you know some games when you apply a widescreen resolution to fullscreen it keeps a 4:3 aspect ratio and the rest of the screen instead of being stretched to fit is just black. Try searching the forum here for any tablet problems threads, maybe it will help you more because i think the lag is your actual Sorry, it's really hard to word. Then it is "fullscreen" and not stretched but that would not make a difference to window mode right? Also if it really would be as you are thinking the osu window would be small in the middle of the screen and everything around it would be black. If you want to have it like that you need an old monitor to play on. So if you want to play fullscreen with a 4:3 resolution chose one and fullscreen o.ôĪlso if you want to play on a HD resolution monitor with a fullscreen game resolution of 4:3 that is just not possible without the picture stretched. Standard is 4:3 and Widescreen is 16:10 in my case. ![]() In the options enable fullscreen and then you can chose a different resolution. Maybe i just can not understand what you wrote. My ideal situation would be to play fullscreen without the game forcing the 16:9 aspect ratio while using a 4:3 aspect ratio, but I'm not sure there's a way to override that (instead of having the screen stretch to fit).Well i dont really understand what your problem is or what you want to do x_x. ![]()
